Background

Doors is an evolution of what I started at university. The following two project reports contain background theory.

Multimedia Sequencing for Live Performances
This is an investigation into multimedia performance frameworks, finishing with the specification of a system. That system became Doors.
Distributed Multimedia Sequencing Using Java & CORBA
This is a tutorial, which guides one through building a distributed multimedia system using Java and CORBA. The end product is the realisation of a simple distributed multimedia composition.
